Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system in order to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare.
Storage in your browser
The calculator stores your most recently entered meal and your saved meals in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act), because the storage is required for the function you requested.
Share function
When you share, a link is copied to your clipboard. The meal is contained in the link itself. We do not store anything.
Fonts
All fonts are loaded from our own server. There is no connection to Google or other font providers.
Visitor statistics with Umami
To understand how the site is used, we use Umami Cloud, a service of Umami Software, Inc. (USA). It records the page viewed, the referring page, browser, operating system, device type, country and individual actions in the calculator (for example “dish added” or “share clicked”). What you enter in the calculator is not transmitted. Umami sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no cross-site profiles. The data is only evaluated in aggregate.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in anonymous audience measurement to improve the site). Data may be transferred to the USA. A data processing agreement with Umami is in place. More in Umami's privacy policy. You can opt out by using a tracking or ad blocker.
No ads, no cookies
We do not use cookies or advertising networks. If that changes, we will update this policy beforehand.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority in your German federal state.
